FLIGHT TRAINING
Manchester Barton Aerodrome is literally a 'grass roots aviation' airfield. Since 1930, our airport has been a 'hub' when it comes to flight training activity. Albeit regular visitors will be familiar with some of the larger hardware that utilise our convenient location to the city, the majority of yearly movements consist of flying school movements. If you're looking to plant the roots of a career in aviation or even just in pursuit of a challenging new hobby, Manchester Barton Aerodrome is the place to achieve your ambitions as a pilot in the Greater Manchester area.
Fixed or rotary wing, there are many aviation licenses and ratings available for pilots to hold, many of which are on offer with operators who are based with us right here!
